Dear GPMTA Teachers:
Our first Outreach Recital this year will be held on Saturday, October 13th at Regency Oaks Assisted Living. We have held this program there successfully for many years, and they are pleased to have our students return. These Senior Citizens enjoy both music and the interaction with young musicians. This is a wonderful way to serve our senior population and at the same time give our students an opportunity to perform. Please encourage your students to participate.
Please fill out the bottom portion of this letter and return to Shirley Hand for, no later than the September 29th. Make extra copies of the form as needed. Please limit your performance time to 10 minutes per studio. (If time permits, teachers may submit more students than a 10 minute limit.)
Students will be entered on a first come, first served basis. Dress is “dressy casual”, no jeans, no flip-flops, neat and conservative (see Performance Attire Guidelines.) Performance may be solos or ensembles (one piano). Solos should be memorized; memorization not required for ensembles. Guests are welcome to attend.
Thanks,
Shirley Hand, Chair
